Elara is the world power now, in the Imperial Age. They were once a part of the Empire of Reine, but rid themselves of the Demi-God, Valith the White and welcomed in a new era.
Elara was led to victory against Valith by Olessander the Elheart, who chose to name the newly founded country after his late wife, Elara. Instead of reforging the country of Reine, he chose to seek a new life, a new age, and ruled as the first "just" king of Elara.
Today, Elara has grown vast and powerful, with a rich history, overflowing coffers, and a strong military that keeps their enemies to the East and West in check.
With the help of their court of mages known as the Ethereal Court, they fight in the name of The Emperor, the one who most see as the leader of the free world.
THE KINGDOM OF
REINE
Ruled by the Roshmere line of Kings for the last 500 years...

Reine suffered many setbacks after the wars with the Demi-Gods. Their empire was fractured and divided, and they lived a time of great civil war before most of their kingdom was partitioned off amongst the winners of the wars. They believe magic to be a disease, a remnant of when Gods and Humans mingled.
Today, they are fierce warriors, stoic, and live mostly within the lands of the mountains that surround their country, the largest cities being within the Dale.
Their greatest strengths come from their warrior mages, The Forgiven, that have been granted royal permission to use magic to seek vengeance on the enemies of the Kingdom. The elite units of the Forgiven are called The Final Mercy.
They have never forgotten what they see as Elara's treachery, and wish to see their great Empire restored to the full might. But with barbarians to the south, and Orcs in the mountains who do not dare venture too far into Elara, they are a shadow of their former selves.
THE REPUBLIC
OF NIDORA
Ruled by the Council of Immortals for over 1000 years

A once proud and lush country that rivalled even the vast Empire of Reine, it is now a harsh desert land, scarred by ancient cataclysms. However, they have not forgotten their culture, and even in the face of a dark history, they are a proud people...
Their lands were once home to many great Eldar (Elf) cities and so, as such, many scholars study the vast temples and ruins beneath the sands of Nidora for a better understanding of what once happened here.
Nidora is led, free of monarchs, by a council of elected officials knowns as the Council of Immortals within The Rings of Echoes, a great palace in the city of Sovalle. The war with Elara ended just shy of fifty years ago, and tensions are high. The Council of Immortals seeks to restore Nidora as a world power.
